Reason Why Instagram and Facebook aren’t working

New Delhi: Facebook’s social media app under Meta has stopped working. In addition to Facebook, Metta’s Instagram and Thread are also reported to have the problem. Facebook suddenly logs out the user while working. Then no one can log in.

According to the data in Site Down Detector, which records the status of downed sites, Facebook down has been reported from different parts of the world since 8.40 pm on Tuesday, March 5. 

At the same time, there were reports yesterday that the failure of deep-sea cables in the Red Sea caused a significant disruption in global telecommunication networks. It is not clear if this is a related issue with the Meta at the moment. 

The cables under four major telecom networks were cut. As a result, a quarter of telecommunications traffic, including internet traffic between Asia, Europe and the Middle East, had to be diverted to other routes. 

Hong Kong telecom company HCG Global Communications said the problem affected 25 percent of telecom traffic in Asia, Europe and Central Asia.
